Ninja trader is a bad platform
I’ve traded for years and have never experienced anything like this. I had sell orders rejected BEFORE a major selloff, not during it. I provided timestamps and screenshots clearly showing my attempts to exit positions prior to the move down. What makes this worse is that after the rejection, the position eventually came back near my entry, yet I still was not allowed to properly exit. Then my account was liquidated later at a loss without my consent while I was no longer at a liquidation threshold. In just a few hours I executed 186 trades totaling 904 contracts and paid $858.80 in commissions and fees, so this is not a case of someone unfamiliar with the platform. I understand fast markets and slippage. This was different. Orders were rejected before the volatility hit, and risk controls appeared inconsistent afterward. I’m not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply wanted a fair adjustment that was actually smaller than the fees I paid that same day. Instead, I received explanations that did not fully address the actual issue shown in the evidence. Very disappointing experience.
