60th Birthday Celebration
I did this tour as part of a group of ten women to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. Myself and one other are in our twenties and the rest of the women are in their fifties and sixties and we all thoroughly enjoyed this tour and took part in all the singing even though we might not have been the best singers we still gave it our all and enjoyed ourselves, we did regret not printing out the lyrics for some of the songs. Simon was our tour guide and he was amazing, he told us so much information about the behind the scenes of the movie and he was a great storyteller. The company were very accommodating when I changed the time of our tour from the afternoon to the morning as only a few days before our booking I noticed the weather forecast was to be bad for the afternoon and it was no problem changing all ten in my group to the morning slot where we had fabulous weather which made the scenic views even more spectacular. I highly recommend doing this tour if you are a fan of the movie and even if you aren’t it’s still amazing to see the sights in the Austrian Lake District :)
