Is this a scam?
I emailed to check on the status of my order, and their reply email assured me they were “working on finding a solution to the issue.” I thought, I didn’t realize there was an “issue.” So I looked at the status online again and looked more closely at graphic to then realize the status shows Order Placed, not even In Production yet. I tried their live chat, but when it found out I was inquiring about order status, it just directed me to their webpage (where I had already previously filled out the Contact form) and then ended the chat on me. It wouldn’t allow me to ask anything more. I tried phone numbers to a couple of their locations listed online, but said something to the equivalent of not in service/available. I purchased an In Stock item so that I would receive it in approximately 2-4 weeks. I understand this is an estimate, but it’s now at 4 weeks in Order Placed status. I had actually referred them to my mother, also, who purchased two sofas from them. Now I’m worried I got us both scammed.
