Gadgethyper’s support is overall solid but not perfect
My experience with Gadgethyper has been really solid so far. Their customer service is on point and their delivery speed is also pretty fast considering the controllers I bought from them shipped from china. I had a recent RMA case with a FlyDigi Vader 5 pro and they were quick to respond and were immediately willing to send me a replacement unit. Emily, the support staff that helped me deal with my recent RMA case was very accommodating and friendly. In the past, the founder Nagi has also answered my enquires on multiple occasions and was very prompt and friendly. Update 1: So the replacement unit I got also had QC issues. The face buttons started making snapping noises if I use the controller for more than an hour, and the back paddles started getting wobbly. I brought this up with gadgethyper and they rejected my warranty claim saying it was within spec according to FlyDigi. After a back forth with gadgethyper, and them claiming other units in their warehouse exhibited similar symptoms, I kinda realised I wasn’t really getting anywhere with this. The thing is I know it’s not normal because the controller straight up didn’t do this for the first 2 months of use. But yeah I kinda give up tryna argue with support. Unfortunately I just have to eat this loss and just buy another controller. I don’t know about other brands, but please do yourself a favour and don’t buy FlyDigi products from Gadgethyper. FlyDigi products have really bad QC, so you need a place with a good return policy. Update 2: Okay so Nagi got into contact with me and was willing to swap out my Vader 5 pro with another controller in the same price range, which is a really nice gesture and I appreciate it! I’m leaving it at 3 stars because I genuinely had to push pretty hard to get to this point, but ultimately I appreciate the fact that gadgethyper was ultimately willing to fix the issue I had. I’d still be a bit skeptical about FlyDigi products, but gadgethyper itself has overall solid customer service. Thanks again for ultimately helping to resolve the issue!
