Coleman Furniture

Buyer Beware

I have spent 3 months dealing with Coleman Furniture on a wall unit that was delivered in March of 2026. After 5 separate appointments from delivery drivers and 3 furniture technicians, the problem was just solved today, June 12th and a manager at Coleman Furniture has the nerve to say that it was settled in a relatively short time. The original delivery drivers placed a small part upside down which made nothing fit. Five visits of multiple contacts from Coleman, Renegade Furuiture, the delivery technician company they hire that is way sub-par (3 technicians couldn't figure out that one piece was upside down nor where they engaged), and Fidelitone who apparently delivers for Renegade Furniture. Countless phone calls from multiple companies and individuals that Coleman Furniture does not coordinate. What did I receive after all of these headaches - $100 credit which they credited to Affirm that has since been paid off. Now, I have to call Affirm to see if they will actually honor the $100 credit and send me payment. YOU MUST READ EVERY SMALL PRINT IN THE CONTRACT for Coleman Furniture. This was my first purchase with them and I would never recommend them to anyone! Did I read all of the fine print - No and that is one me. If your piece arrives in pristine condition, you are very fortunate and good to go. If there are any issues no matter how small or large (in our case3) - your experience will become a nightmare and you a actually the one responsible for handling the multiple subs that deal with Coleman Furniture. They DO NOT coordinate this for you as the customers. I actually purchased from them because of all of the great reviews. I honestly don't where these are coming from. The last 3 months have been a nightmare dealing with them and all of their sub-contractors. Of course, one might ask - are you satisfied with the end result? No, the piece that no one could figure out was inserted upside down was just one of the issues. The doors are still crooked and there are many nail holes popping out in the bookcase portion. However, I have accepted an inferior product because I have no other recourse than to return and pay their significant return fees. And then, I end up paying way more than anticipated and have no product, no matter how inferior the product is. And one more comment... somehow I cannot post a review on their website. Talked with chat and they couldn't figure out why either. Coincidence - I'm thinking not.
