Sue is AWESOME!
Sue is the best! Communication in the beginning was a little rough as there were time zone differences, holidays (Chinese New Year), running quotes, changing designs, etc but once the holidays passed, I had zero complaints and would choose Tianyu and Sue all over again. My design was a complete custom design from my brain. I had no real photos for her to “duplicate” a ring, and I cannot draw, so imagine how hard that was for Sue to be able to grasp my EXTREMELY detailed ring in English, and translate that to the CAD designer AND jeweler. Also, I knew how my band would look like, my stone, basket, literally every detail, but never was detailed about how the band connected to the basket. They themselves chose to do a tapered shank (band) and it’s SO GOOD! After I received my perfect setting, I brought it to my local Asian jeweler to set my center stone and he messed up my prongs without telling me. I cried. I reached out to Sue, and honestly, she already made the sale and could’ve left me to figure it out myself. She stated that I could send it back and she would try her best to fix it without cost, but if not, there might be a charge to make it right (dependent the jewelers findings ofc). I agreed and shipped it back to Tianyu via DHL. DHL currently is holding the ring in customs. Shes reached out to the shipping company, and they are requiring Sue to submit documents to even receive my ring for repair. She’s reassured me every step of the way. I think it speaks volumes about Sue & Tianyu as they continue to care about their customers and their craftsmanship even after it has left their hands. I will definitely be recommending Tianyu and Sue to everyone! Literally 10/10. Just be patient and diligent, Sue & Tianyu’s craftsmanship is worth it.
