Paychex failed to file 2025 Tax Return
Paychex failed to file a 2025 local tax return for our company, which we paid them to file. Our office manager first contacted them on May 1st, 2026, and many, many emails have been completely ignored; she's spent hours on hold and/or talking with anyone who she can reach there, because our rep will not return calls. She's talked to managers, supervisors, and was transferred once allegedly to the tax department to get it sorted out, but that transfer went to a totally different company that had nothing to do with taxes. This has been an absolute nightmare, and we will soon be facing fines and penalties from the taxing municipality because of Paychex's negligence and complete disregard for our attempts to communicate with them. This is now SIX WEEKS of attempting to get any sort of response or attention to this matter.
