UnibuyPlus

Daredevil suit review

I ordered a Daredevil suit from UnibuyPlus for over $200, and the quality did not match the price. The material appeared shinier than expected instead of matte, and the red detailing began peeling after very minimal use. Several structural components were also poorly made. The arm braces and leg armor did not close or fit properly, making them difficult to wear as intended. This was not a sizing issue, as my measurements were confirmed with them before production. While the base suit sizing was mostly accurate, the overall construction quality and durability were disappointing. Communication was also inconsistent—after I provided photos of the issues, responses slowed down significantly and at one point stopped, with unclear explanations when they did respond. For this price point, I expected much better quality control and customer support. I would be cautious when ordering. Edit: Thank you for your response. To clarify, the issue was not simply incorrect overall sizing. The base suit fit reasonably well; however, multiple constructed components were defective or non-functional, including: * The arm bracers do not properly close or secure * The leg armor does not fully close and cannot be fastened as intended * The collar area has excess fabric and structural inconsistencies * The red detailing on the suit began peeling after minimal use, indicating a material or adhesion defect These issues were present in specific components of the product and are not fully explained by overall measurement accuracy alone. After these concerns were identified, I agreed out of good faith to proceed with a $100 upgrade option for the red suit, which was acknowledged as a potential resolution. However, communication ceased before the process was completed, and no final resolution was provided. The concerns were not limited to sizing alone, and the functional issues with multiple armor components were not addressed in the explanation provided. While I understand your position regarding policy and production standards, the issues experienced relate to product functionality and build quality, not an attempt to bypass pricing or obtain additional items without payment. Edit 2 : I understand your position, but I want to clarify a few points so the situation is represented accurately. First, the sizing explanation does not fully account for the issues I experienced. My measurements were confirmed prior to production, and the base suit generally fit. The problems were not limited to tightness—they included peeling of the printed design after minimal use and multiple armor components, such as the bracers and leg pieces, not closing properly. These are separate construction and durability concerns, not solely the result of stretch. Second, while it is true I initially agreed to the $100 remake, that agreement was made before the full extent of the defects became clear and before communication delays occurred. My decision to revoke that agreement was based on the emergence of additional issues and a pattern of repeated non-response after I provided photos on April 17. I followed up multiple times with no reply on April 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, and 29, and eventually had to open a new support thread on May 1 due to the lack of response. The original thread was not addressed until May 19. Presenting the decision to revoke the agreement without this context does not reflect the full timeline. Third, while I did ultimately receive a full refund, that was not the intended resolution. My intent throughout was to receive a functional product as ordered, not a refund or an alternative outcome. The refund only occurred after escalation through the dispute process and continued lack of response, and it does not change the fact that the product itself was not usable as intended. Throughout this process, my actions consistently reflected an attempt to resolve the issue directly and obtain the product as originally ordered, rather than seeking a refund or any form of unnecessary escalation. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly before escalating, and the situation progressed due to extended non-response and unresolved defects rather than any unwillingness on my part to cooperate or find a reasonable solution. I consider the matter closed through the dispute outcome, but I do not agree with the characterization of the issues as solely sizing-related.
