Unethical and Unprofessional
Worthy is very helpful in the beginning, but once they have your jewelry it all goes south. They told me to list my rings at an extremely low reserve price, including a last minute warning that my item wouldnt sell at the reserve I listed. I ignored them and listed it at my price anyway (about $1500 higher) and the reserve was met within a few days and the rings sold at my requested price. After the auction Worthy ghosts you and doesnt reply to texts or email inquiries about your payout. I filed a complaint with the BBB because tomorrow is business day 14 following my auction close and they claim they have no date of payment. This is an extremely unethical unprofessional way of doing business. I'm assuming they use customer money to earn interest and cover expenses and earlier customer payouts. If I don't have my money tomorrow I'll file a complaint with the New York Attorney General. And no, I won't use Worthy again or recommend them moving forward. UPDATE: After filing this review I received a bribe from Worthy saying they would give me a $50 Amazon gift certificate if I removed this review. This is in violation of Trustpilot policy. Wow.
