I bought a Revelator io44 interface
I bought a Revelator io44 interface, and the box explicitly promises a permanent license for Studio One Artist. But when I try to register the product, it redirects me to Fender's website, and that version is gone. Instead, they give you a temporary trial of Fender Studio Pro. This is highly misleading. The Artist version is permanent—even if it's inferior to the Pro, I wouldn't need to spend more money unless I wanted to. With this temporary Pro version, my access expires in December, forcing me to either buy a new version or be left with no DAW at all. What's worse is that the Revelator io44 was built to work directly with the PreSonus/Fender ecosystem. They are essentially forcing me to buy something I already paid for when I bought the interface. I want them to either grant me the Artist version or give me the Pro version for free since the Artist version is missing. You can't do this to consumers; it's completely dishonest.
