Disappointing
I was disappointed that: 1) purchasing through TravelMerry is not actually purchasing a ticket as expected, as it has to be purchased secondarily by them and rates can change 2) They purchased one leg of my round trip ticket, then sent me a PayPal (?) request for the other half, for an amount slightly more expensive than initially agreed upon. 3) when my card didn't process the second half for some reason, I called in to the 24x7 hotline, made sure all the info they had was correct, and was told they'd call back in 15 minutes to let me know the status. I stayed up till the middle of the night waiting and they didn't call me back, so I called them again the next morning. 4) As others have reported, shortly after the trip my credit card information was compromised. This may or may not be TravelMerry's fault, but it's strange that multiple people are reporting this experience. It was stressful to not know whether the ticket was going to work out for multiple days after I "purchased" the trip, and the hours I put into trying to make this work were hours I did not have to spare. I did finally talk with someone who seemed professional and kind when everything was finally confirmed, and I did wind up on the flights, which is why this review is two stars rather than one. I thought Skyscanner would filter out companies like this but apparently not.
