Beware
My subscription and meals started out fine. Once in a while an organic ingredient was substituted for a nonorganic ingredient which was ok - although the price of the meal did not change. BEWARE - This week, I was charged for my order the regular price, then was charge an additional $5.98 for a "premium meal". I do not order any meals that cost extra because I think the price of the meals are high as is. I called to find out what meal was 'premium' to discover that the pork and baked beans (which I had ordered in the past) was considered a premium meal because it was in high demand! Nowhere did it say that I would be charged extra. No one contacted me to give me the opportunity to change my meal. How is it a fair and honest business practice to charge for something that was never stated? I realize it is only $5.98, but if this is a practice that they do regularly, they can be making a lot of extra money. Imagine 100 people were charged that would be $600. Imagine if all of my meals were in "high demand". That would mean I would be charged almost an additional $20 for the week. The representative I spoke with said she heard my frustration and if it happens again, to call and they will refund my charge. Why can't it be refunded now? This is such an unacceptable and unprofessional business practice.
