The best out there for real traders
I have tried many other brokers but plain and simple , interactive brokers is the best out there. I have had them for almost 25 years and only one I have stuck with. I have had possibly two or three times in 25 years when I needed to call them. Just two or three. Despite what you read elsewhere, the customer service is exceptional and solved my issue very quickly. All the bad reviews are cases with really complicated structures (like foreign residents, transfer of accounts and such). If you are a trader based in USA and trading on normal exchanges ( Nasdaq, CME, CBOT, Nymex) etc , then I can’t recommend them enough. Their TWS trading system is probably the easiest to use out there and customizable. Mobile app ( IBKR mobile) is power packed one and simple to use. They pay best interest n cash if you are trading options and keep cash in hand as collateral. You can buy bonds and treasury and use it as collateral or margin. Their Portfolio Analyst tool is so good that it can tell in real time if you are trading bad or are over leveraged. All in all best experience ever and I will never go anywhere else for my trades. ( I am frequent trader and my commissions go into thousands per month).
