I shopped at BJ's Valley Stream in NY .I have spent $25 dollars buying Avocados there ,everytime I buy a bag, they dont ripened,instead they just get rotted , dots of rotted flesh all around the fruit ,the rest of fruit still not ripe Either they were picked too early or refrigeration not monitored properly , placed in colder temperature that is why they dont ripened. The papayas as well , they are become soft but pale yellow inside and not sweet.
