Farm Rio has lost a long time customer.
After this interaction with FARM, I will never shop there again. They have lost a loyal customer. I literally bought my bridesmaids farm Rio slippers and suggested they wear farm Rio dresses for my wedding in Brazil. This is how much I loved farm Rio. I am hurt, shocked, and disgusted by their lack of customer support on this matter. I recently made a large purchase online. It was final sale. I’ve shopped at Farm for over a decade. Including their stores in Brazil. Normally their quality is outstanding. However, these items were so cheap and poorly made they are unwearable. Twisted hems. Uneven seams. Items that look nothing like what was advertised online. A dress so cheap feeling an Amazon dupe may have been better quality. I emailed their customer support with an incredibly detailed message and photos and their “nice” response back was that the flaws are INTENTIONAL. All items were built to have all of the flaws that I carefully described and showed. Even though my items do not match whats on the website…. This is what they literally told me, “ After reviewing the concerns you described, I'd also like to clarify that the characteristics you mentioned—such as the drape, volume, shape, proportions, finishing details, and the appearance of certain fabrics—are part of the intended design and aesthetic of these pieces. We completely understand that this design approach may not have met your personal expectations or preferences, and that's absolutely valid. However, these details were intentionally developed by our Design team as part of the collection's creative concept and are not considered manufacturing defects”. They are defects and Farm has just lost a customer. I am now stuck with hundreds of dollars in items that I cannot wear and truthfully reselling them on secondary platforms would be dishonest (like Farm) because the items are not wearable!
