I am an Italian journalist, author and visual artist. I first discovered Animoto in 2009 during a professional development trip to the USA. I was immediately struck by its easy, intuitive approach to creating video clips. Initially (March 2010!), I created short videos to showcase my artistic work, sharing them in Italy at conferences, meetings, and lectures with students and educators. Later, I introduced Animoto to those same students and teachers during the training and professional development courses I have been conducting in Italy for years. I have kept my early videos in my project gallery. Today, Animoto has evolved and remains ready to embrace new technological challenges driven by creativity. I continue to introduce it in schools where I have been teaching media literacy classes in recent years. I consider it a platform that offers tremendous support to anyone wishing to express their creativity.
