Shopee doesn't honour it's Approval on Return/Refund !
- Subject: Review result for request 2607110D6UQ2XDQ --------------. 19 July 2026 Re: 4TB Seagate HDDs (2 pcs) ORDER ID. 260705U6SNVMPB From the very beginning, on 11 July 2026, when I first submitted my Return/Refund request, I clearly informed Shopee that both Seagate HDDs had been opened solely to compare the grey and silver colours, as I had purchased one for my husband and one for myself. Other than this brief comparison, both HDDs remained untouched and unused. During the lengthy and unsuccessful attempts to arrange the return pickup, several Shopee agents repeatedly reassured me that the Shopee Dispute Team had already approved my Return/Refund request. However, Shopee has now reversed its original decision and is reneging on the approval and assurances given by multiple agents. The reason now being cited is that the items had been opened - even though I had explicitly disclosed this information before the Return/Refund was initially approved. As a result, the considerable time and effort I spent trying to complete the return process, based on Shopee’s confirmed approval, has been entirely wasted. The whole experience has been frustrating, stressful, and deeply disappointing. This raises serious concerns about the professionalism, consistency, and integrity that customers should reasonably expect from a shopping platform such as Shopee. -----.
