Adequate for learning, but not optimal
I like that I can have a conversation and receive feedback immediately. I like that the AI person allows questions and even for me to say that I want to leave that conversation if it is too easy for me. I like that they have a few choices of AI presentation. Sometimes the "person" gets stuck on a sound and it is quite noticeable that it's ai. Also, I'm not sure why we go through the language assessment in the beginning because my plan is giving me content that is too easy and that takes time out of what I could actually be learning. Additionally, the AI people definitely look like computerized people once they start talking. It's a little freaky. Finally, they give us a choice as to which type of spanish we want to learn (Castillian vs. Latin American, which they call standard); however, every single one of the "standard AI's still seem to use Castillian. Annoying.
