We canceled our subscription just three…
We canceled our subscription just three days after the annual renewal because we were no longer using the product. We contacted customer support immediately, explained that we hadn't used the service since the renewal, and requested a refund for the approximately $2,000 charge. Unfortunately, our request was denied with no flexibility or consideration, despite the fact that we reached out almost immediately after renewal and had not used the product. The response we received was essentially, "It is what it is," which came across as dismissive and disappointing. I understand companies have renewal policies, but many SaaS providers make reasonable exceptions when customers contact them promptly after an automatic renewal, especially when there has been no usage. Instead, we ended up paying $2,000 for a product we didn't use. Based on our experience, don't expect any flexibility or customer-focused resolution if you miss the renewal date by even a few days.
