The Greenridge store: dishonest & disastrous
The Greenridge store on Woodruff Road is a complete disaster! First, there were missing prices for many items. I had to chase down an employee to ask for a price, and when I got to the register, it was the wrong price and much higher than what I was told. For another item I was able to find a little almost hidden sign with a price chart, finally. But at the register I was charged $5 more for that item. When I brought it to my cashier’s attention (Taylor), she was rude enough to send me all the way to the back of the store to take a picture of the actual price on that little sign and prove I was right. She finally took off the $5, but she gave me a real attitude. I asked her for a gift receipt for two of my three items, and I clearly stated which ones. She gave me the wrong gift receipt. Back in the car I luckily checked on it and figured out it was wrong. I went back to the store, and she was busy with another customer, but she kind of was annoyed because I was back. The other lady at the register offered to help. Once I explained that I needed my receipt corrected, she was also annoyed, but she helped me anyway. Of course, I had to step in since she was about to do the same mistake as Taylor. It’s really not so hard to issue a gift receipt correctly. They were both rude and clearly incompetent. The management in this store clearly doesn’t care about it’s customers at all. I’ll definitely also complain about the pricing issue and misleading strategy to the BBB since this happened to me before. I’ll never go back to this store again. There are much better options to spend my money than on this terrible store.
