When I first started working with Spines, my experience wasn't the best. I ran into issues with my original account manager, and as we got closer to my project's deadline, it became clear that the situation was creating more stress than support. Although I was encouraged to continue with the same manager, I requested someone new. I'm so glad I spoke up. The team at Spines listened to my concerns, took them seriously, and worked quickly to make things right. My new account manager has been absolutely amazing. I honestly can't imagine finishing this project without her. I also had an incredible editing team. If I could request the same team for every future project, I absolutely would. A special thank you to Valentina and Yurisel. Valentina's expertise, professionalism, and ability to act quickly truly saved this project, and Yurisel was wonderful to work with as well. If Spines allows author requests for team members, they would be my first choice every time. Every project is bound to have a few hiccups. What impressed me wasn't that problems came up—it was how Spines responded. They listened, took action, and showed that they genuinely care about both their authors and the books they help bring to life. The people at Spines are real people who are passionate about what they do. The support I received felt personal, thoughtful, and authentic.
