INEFFICIENT SERVICE/FAXED RX-NO REMEDY

The provider submitted a Incomplete Faxed order to Walmart. The appt was at 3:45 by the time the FAXED RX was received by Walmart (and several attempts to reach the Provider)it was after 6pm EST. We're on PST and OUT OF MEDS WITH NO WAY TO GET ANY BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS TONITE. Is a faxed RX even legal in CA??? Everyone used E-Fills. This wouldn't be an issue if our Medical coverage was effective before 8/1/26!! We're out of meds, out of the office visit fee and I'm so upset that we may have to spend money in the ER tonight because of inefficiency. I knew I should have used REFILL GENIE!!!! Signed, FORMER CUSTOMER Addendum: After several attempts the next day, the Provider called in the refill, and all is well. However, calls to Customer Service were not helpful They couldn't tell me what the process was for contacting a Provider, nor what the remedy was in the event the Pharmacy inquiry went unanswered. Ramzo told me the service provided was an Assessment not a guarantee that my (Husband's) RX would be refilled. Which is weird since medication refills is what's advertised......
