Orthora Footwear

Can I give a Negative 5

Can I give a Negative 5? Ordered a pair for my husband and one for myself. His were sized incorrectly, and way too small for him, so he couldn’t wear them. I wore my pair for about 30 minutes and they were literally the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. There was Zero insert or cushioning, just a hard plastic slab. With nothing holding my foot in place, my foot slid all the way forward and crushed my toes. I contacted Orthora. They offered me a 20% discount, or a 75% store credit. I declined the store credit and requested my full refund. They then increased their offer to 30% or a 100% store credit. I reminded them of their “45 day money-back guarantee.” The person I was communicating with told me they weren’t allowed to offer anything further. I requested escalation. Didn’t hear back for 2 days, so I emailed them to inquire about the timing of my full refund. I was then offered a 50% refund. I declined. They then offered a 70% refund “minus the amount we absorbed to complete the delivery and fulfillment of your order.” I asked what exact that meant, and declined a 70% refund. I was then offered a 75% refund. At this point I was done with the back and forth. I filed a complaint with my credit card company. I immediately received an email asking me to reverse the complaint because “ Chargebacks hurt our business because we're charged additional fees on top of what it took to process your order. If there's any way that we can resolve this, please don't hesitate to let us know.” I pointed out that if been attempting to “resolve this” for over a week at this point, and they were welcome to honor their 100% guarantee. I never heard back. My credit card company investigated and issued a full refund. This business is a scam. Buyer Beware!!
