Samsung 85" Neo QLED 8k... Think Twice

I purchased a Samsung 85" Neo QLED 8K (QN85QN800D) expecting the ownership experience to match what Samsung promotes as one of its flagship TVs. Just 53 days after the 12-month warranty expired, the panel developed a permanent defect. Samsung's authorized service center confirmed it was a panel failure. Considering how soon the issue occurred after the warranty expired, I requested a goodwill repair or commercial consideration. Samsung's final response was simply that the official warranty lasts 12 months. I was also informed that the replacement panel was out of stock, with an estimated wait of around 100 days, and that the repair would cost more than 60% of the price of a new TV, while carrying only a 3-month repair warranty. The picture quality was outstanding while the TV worked. Unfortunately, the after-sales support did not meet the expectations I had for a flagship premium product. I hope this review helps other customers make an informed purchasing decision.
