What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many consumers express strong dissatisfaction regarding the quality of the equipment, noting that certain products cease functioning prematurely or develop issues like poor battery life on phones. Furthermore, a considerable number of people report major issues with the service and pricing structure associated with repairs, including being quoted high costs for parts and labor. However, some customers also noted that certain flagship phones offer excellent camera quality, while a few praised specific models for good performance. A few other people mentioned positive experiences, stating that some items performed reliably or that they enjoyed the use of certain devices, like a specific tablet model. While overall service is often criticized for being slow or unhelpful, some reviewers experienced successful fixes from external, recommended services.

What people say

Samsung is garbage

The tablet is garbage, and that is the most recent version. instead of being a Samsung S26 with a giant screen, it works more like a laptop from 2001. Garbage. Then I try to return it, a 15 day return window, and I am currently on hour 4 of trying to find a way to return it. Samsung doesn't even try to hide the fact that they want to make you miss your return window. This is the worst customer service experience of my life. They don't have enough people to provide any service, but they make sure to hire enough people to take your money. That happens real quick. Run from Samsung. Just run.

Since for last week I am suffering from…

Since for last week I am suffering from mynewly purchased handset M70 e 6 GB RAM which is just 22 days old for which my mobile is not supporting to work on wifi & draining of battery as well. My wife visited to service center on 22.08.26 but after repairing from the very next again the same problem started with additional problem of battery drainage. When asked samsung company to replace the same against warranty period. But now company is diverting the issue. So it is very disappointing & disgusting

Garbage tablets, selling pure garboleum phones

I bought a Samsung Galaxy tab a7 lite 4 years ago, first, the battery drains super fast, secondly it is super slow like I have to press a button 6 times to do the work and thirdly the UI on the tablet looks horrible and it's loaded with bloatware that you can't uninstall, their phones are horrible either, they removed the Bluetooth from the s-pen which removes remote camera shutter and basically all features tied to Bluetooth

Logged a repair via the Samsung Portal…

Logged a repair via the Samsung Portal as my Pet65 Vacuum ceased working less than 2 x years since purchase. The portal gave a date for when the item would be collected - since then, nothing. Track repair takes me to a chat, the chat agents know nothing. Escalated via a Call - the agents revert to their standard script and talk over you. Escalted to the CEO office - a reply came back saying I would be contacted the same day - and here is a Shock - No further contact - so 6 x days waiting, and so far no updates at all.

Motherboard died after 3 years

Motherboard died after 3 years. Done with Samsung.Bought my S23 Ultra in April 2023, and it completely died on me last mount. Just stopped turning on. Took it to the Samsung store at Yorkdale Mall, and they said the motherboard is fried and needs a full replacement. This was a super expensive phone, and having the motherboard fail right after the warranty ends is ridiculous. Dealing with Samsung is just as frustrating as dealing with Apple. They don't care about their customers at all. Definitely my last Samsung phone, I'm switching brands. Don't waste your money on this.

Customer Help not great.

After 3 years my Samsung TV has started behaving really strangely with the biggest problem being the failure to load Netflix. Having spent hours on the phone with my internet provider, Netflix and Samsung live chat I got nowhere. Was given a number to call in technical services who was actually very polite and helpful. Then was put through to someone for a password reset who was extremely difficult to understand, rude when I asked him to repeat things and then just cut me off! Will probably have to get a new TV but it definitely won’t be a Samsung.

Product repair - Rip off

Sent S23 Ultra in to get quote on Repair in New Zealand - received quote for $1200 plus, rang to ascertain what was actually wrong with it, they informed me it wasn't connecting to any network and needed a full new motherboard - called them out on this as I was ringing them from the phone. They didn't even try to figure out what was wrong, just wanted to completely rebuild the phone. Sending phone to another repairer - $350

Just tried using their website to order…

Just tried using their website to order an extra cable for my galaxy watch 9. Starting to regret this purchase. It made me use their AI chat bot which kept routing me to their sales page but would just route me back to the home page. Extremely frustrating, then tried talking to an agent and it froze multiple times. I still don't have an answer to whether or not I can order an extra cable because there isn't anything on their website. Can't order from third party because they've made that impossible right now. The least they could do is sell them themselves.

I am not satisfied with the product I…

I am not satisfied with the product I received. It heats up excessively during use. Furthermore, the product does not look new at all and appears to be a second-hand or used item. Therefore, I would like to request a replacement for this product. Please let me know the process for the exchange as soon as possible.

The worst customer service

We've been in the process of a replacement fridge which started on the 23rd April. Our Family Hub Fridge was taken from our home by Samsung. We've been promised a refund. That was 8 weeks ago. No fridge. No refund. No email reply. No callback. No update. Extremely frustrated and let down by Samsung. Their online customer service is just the worst.

Appalled at the Samsung Trade In Service

I recently traded my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 in for an upgrade to a Galaxy Z Flip8. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the phone. It was in fully working order with no visible marks. I also send all the original packaging and documentations. They offered me £250.00, which I accepted. On receiving the phone, they deducted £150.00 for an apparently damaged frame and gave me three choices: 1. You can pay the excess and your trade in will be complete 2. You can pay the promotional discount and we will return your trade in device 3. You can return your new device to Samsung and we will return your trade in device I opted for the phone to be returned to me. When I asked for the packaging and documentation to be returned as well, they replied, “We do not return packaging or accessories; these are discarded upon arrival.” It is unexpectable not returning original packaging or accessories send to them. I could have easily old the phone on another selling platform. I am disgusted at their suggestion that my old phone is only worth £100.00. I therefore had no alternative but to pay the £150.00 excess, as I always require access to a working mobile phone.

Terrible trade in program …

As many people have stated here as well their trade in program is terrible. Is use to be good but not anymore. After many years of Samsung phones, TVs and also a refrigerator . I will no longer purchase anything Samsung makes. I traded in my Galaxy z flip 5 for a flip 8. It was in great shape. Always had a case worked fine. I was told I would get $400 USD credit with my trade in. I get a email saying that the phone isn't eligible. No reasons at all. I got on chat support at least 4 times and they acknowledged they didn't know why I didn't get my credit. At first they said it wasn't a Flip 5. It was and the chat rep looked at the images and said it was fine and sent it to their back office triage to investigate. Next thing I know I'm being charged $400 . I called but no clear answer and they haven't even returned my phone back. I'm done

I strongly recommend thinking twice…

I strongly recommend thinking twice before purchasing a Samsung refrigerator, particularly if you expect meaningful support when something goes wrong. I purchased my Samsung refrigerator in May 2021. When it stopped cooling properly, I contacted Samsung and paid a required $140 diagnostic/service fee before the technician came to my home. Samsung initially performed remote troubleshooting and identified a potential compressor-related issue. An authorized technician later physically inspected the refrigerator and provided the actual repair recommendation. The result? $1,414 for the repair. Approximately a 50% chance the repair would actually work. No refund if it didn't. So I was being asked to gamble $1,414 on repairing a refrigerator that was approximately five years old. If the repair failed, I would lose the $1,414 and still need to purchase another refrigerator. I escalated the matter to Samsung Corporate. I also filed a BBB complaint. Samsung reviewed the remote diagnosis, diagnostic fee, technician inspection, and repair estimate and declined to reimburse the $140, assist with the repair, replace the refrigerator, or offer ANY other accommodation. Their repeated response has essentially been that the refrigerator is outside the applicable warranty period. I understand what "out of warranty" means. My complaint is about what Samsung considers an acceptable customer experience after the warranty expires. If Samsung's own authorized service provider can only offer me a $1,414 nonrefundable repair with approximately a coin-flip chance of actually fixing the appliance, I would expect the manufacturer to recognize that this is not a reasonable solution. Samsung disagrees. After reviewing everything, Samsung Corporate informed me that its decision is final and that it will provide no additional accommodation. So I am now left replacing a refrigerator purchased in May 2021 after already paying $140 for the service process, while Samsung considers the matter closed. Before spending thousands of dollars on a Samsung appliance, consumers should understand what support may look like several years down the road. My experience has made my decision very easy: I will not purchase another Samsung appliance.
