Whatnot app not safe enough!
Good afternoon,. My name is Anthony C. I joined Whatnot on July 29, 2026, and my first bid was for an e-bike. To place the bid, I was required to enter my credit card information into the platform. After sunmitting my bid, it was accepted. I then sent a message to the selle "greatdealsnewyork," but never received a response. Shortly afterward, I decided to lock my credit card as a precaution. To my surprise, Whatnot later informed me that this seller had been removed from the platform due to inappropriate transactions.I contacted Whatnot regarding this situation, but I have not yet received a response. It is extremely concerning that so many people are taking advantage of others online. This experience has significantly reduced my confidence in the platform, and I would hope that Whatnot would take stronger measures to proptect buyers and ensure that purchases are safe and secure.
