Worst company ever …
I can honestly say this has been the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I only ended up using Angi because I purchased a range hood from Wayfair, and their installation service was handled through Angi. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a huge mistake. Our project was simple: remove the cabinet and microwave above the stove, then install the new range hood. I was told that two professionals would come—one to remove the cabinet and microwave, and another to install the hood. What actually happened was unbelievable. Angi gave both contractors completely incorrect job descriptions. The installer was told he was coming to hang a picture on the wall, while the other contractor was told he was there to haul away a mattress. The installer arrived at 10:30 an on Saturday and waited for over an hour before leaving because the person assigned to remove the cabinet and microwave showed up 2 hours and 15 minutes late. When he finally arrived, he was confused because Angi had told him he was picking up a mattress. I rescheduled the appointments for today 8:00 am and 9:30 am . To my disbelief, Angi assigned the same contractor who was over two hours late on Saturday. Even worse, they once again gave him the wrong job—this time telling he is to haul away furniture, despite my repeatedly explaining that the work was to remove a cabinet and microwave from the wall. As I’m writing this, he’s already an hour late. At this point, I have zero confidence in Angi. Their communication is completely disorganized, they repeatedly send contractors with the wrong work orders, and they waste everyone’s time—the customer’s and the contractor’s alike. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Angi think twice before trusting them with a home project.
