The Sonos system sounds great but is is awful!
The Sonos system sounds great, wireless and is so good when it works. Sound rivals much more expensive whole house systems…….when it works, which is about 1/3 of the time you turn it on! If you enjoy neglecting your guests for the first 30 min. of a party while you are on the phone with tech support to fix a system that worked 30 min before when you turned it off to get in the shower Sonos is for you! If you just want to throw on some music while you cook but spend 45 min on the phone with some sketchy (some are very good, but 50/50) tech support while your dinner burns, Sonos is for you! It is a wonderful system when it works, and it has worked great in my house for years, but with no changes on my end it has gone to pot, literally no longer works from hour to hour. Not sure what has happened with the programming team, but it is horrible now, and it used to be rock solid since I bought the first one in 2015 or so! A real shame! Looking for a new solution.
