Tango

Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid Tango if you value your money and your time.

Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid Tango if you value your money and your time. I intentionally started with a $1.20 reward as a test before relying on Tango for larger amounts. I'm glad I did, because this wasn't about losing $1.20: it was about seeing how the platform handles problems. Based on this experience, I have no confidence trusting Tango with hundreds or thousands of dollars in rewards. My card was charged immediately, and their AI chatbot told me to wait up to 3 business days for the reward to process. After those 3 business days, the reward was marked "Failed." However, when I opened the reward details in their portal, it still showed "Pending." How can an order be both failed and pending at the same time? What makes this even worse is the complete lack of communication. Tango provides no explanation whatsoever for why the reward failed. Was additional information required? Was that particular reward temporarily unavailable? Am I not allowed to purchase that reward? Was it a technical issue? There is absolutely no indication of what went wrong or what I should do differently to make sure it doesn't happen again. You're simply left guessing. Their AI chatbot is completely useless. It offers almost no meaningful information and simply creates a support ticket instead of actually helping. I submitted a ticket immediately after the reward failed. It's now been over a week of complete silence. I submitted a second support ticket, and that has also gone unanswered. The only communication I've received is an automated email confirming they received my request. That's it. There's no ticket portal, no case status, no estimated response time, no updates, and no way to know whether anyone has even looked at my issue. It honestly makes you question whether the tickets are being reviewed at all. The communication is nonexistent, the support is disgraceful, and the lack of transparency is unacceptable. Taking a customer's money is easy, but apparently communicating when something goes wrong isn't. Leaving paying customers with a charged card, a failed reward, contradictory status updates, unanswered support requests, and no refund is, in my opinion, a deceptive way to treat customers. If you're a business considering Tango to distribute rewards or gift cards to your users, I'd strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. A platform that handles customer issues with complete silence and zero transparency is not one I'd trust with my business. This simple test told me everything I needed to know before committing significant amounts of money, and I'm relieved I found out now rather than after relying on Tango at scale.
