My experience with NACA has been a very positive and eye-opening journey so far. The process is very thorough, and while there is a lot of documentation and preparation involved, I appreciate that NACA takes the time to make sure you are truly prepared for homeownership. My counselor has been helpful throughout the process and has taken the time to review my financial situation, answer my questions, and explain what I need to provide. The process has also helped me take a much closer look at my finances, my budget, my credit, and my overall financial goals. What I appreciate most about NACA is that they are not simply helping you purchase a home—they are helping you understand the responsibility that comes with owning one. I have learned more about budgeting, financial stewardship, debt management, and preparing for a mortgage payment that fits within my budget. There have definitely been moments when gathering all of the paperwork has felt overwhelming, but I understand why the process is so detailed. I am committed to completing each step and continuing toward my goal of becoming a homeowner. I am grateful to have NACA as part of my homeownership journey, and I look forward to reaching the finish line and getting the keys to my new home!
