My experience with NACA has been a very…

My experience with NACA has been a very positive and eye-opening journey so far. The process is very thorough, and while there is a lot of documentation and preparation involved, I appreciate that NACA takes the time to make sure you are truly prepared for homeownership. My counselor has been helpful throughout the process and has taken the time to review my financial situation, answer my questions, and explain what I need to provide. The process has also helped me take a much closer look at my finances, my budget, my credit, and my overall financial goals. What I appreciate most about NACA is that they are not simply helping you purchase a home—they are helping you understand the responsibility that comes with owning one. I have learned more about budgeting, financial stewardship, debt management, and preparing for a mortgage payment that fits within my budget. There have definitely been moments when gathering all of the paperwork has felt overwhelming, but I understand why the process is so detailed. I am committed to completing each step and continuing toward my goal of becoming a homeowner. I am grateful to have NACA as part of my homeownership journey, and I look forward to reaching the finish line and getting the keys to my new home!

First Time Homebuyer

I had my first appointment with NACA today, and it was an incredible experience. My housing counselor, Brian Hall, was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient. As a first-time homeowner, the homebuying process can feel overwhelming, but Brian took the time to help me understand everything from start to finish. I truly appreciate how thorough he was, and I feel much more confident moving forward with the program. Highly recommend Brian! -DeQuisha Williams

The NACA program makes homeownership a reality

The NACA program has made my dream of home ownership come true. My counselor Dwayne Jordan has walked me through and explained the whole process. The NACA program guides you through the process of being a smart homebuyer and qualifies people who normally lenders wouldn’t take . If homeownership is your dream contact NACA..

NACA becomes the fulfillment of my lifetime desire, to become owner of my own house.

I am very exited with this NACA hose buying program, I’m at the brink of accomplishing a lifetime dream of acquiring my own house. The NACA program is realistic and very straightforward. Fulfilling all requirements, step by step is like drawing closer to se my dream becoming a reality.

Amazing company with an amazing mission…

Amazing company with an amazing mission to make homeownership affordable for working people. By far the best mortgage available to your average working person. Only downside is they don’t back the mortgages themselves and instead use BofA for financing which can make qualification feel like a part time job.

NACA has been such an amazing…

NACA has been such an amazing organization to work with throughout our homebuying journey. From the very beginning, we have felt supported, informed, and encouraged every step of the way. Our counselor has been exceptional...always responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed. We are looking forward to the remainder of our journey!

I have been working with Livier Tinoco

I have been working with Livier Tinoco, a Loan Agent out of the Upland, California location. Her lending expertise is exceptional as she has coached me a proper way to package my loan and prepare it for Underwriting. Will I refer her clients? Absolutely not doubt will refer her more clients. Sincerely, Noel Vitug

Five years ago

Five years ago, owning a home felt like an impossible dream. Today, I am finally so close to being NACA Qualified. ✨ This 5-year marathon tested everything I had. There were moments I wanted to give up, but my incredible counselor, Gladys A Reyes de Gutierrez, never stopped believing in me. She was my anchor through every single file update and bank review. With her guidance, I overcame major hurdles that once felt insurmountable. I successfully maintained my mandatory monthly shock allowance savings and completely paid off my IRS balance! To anyone struggling: please don’t give up. The process is tough, but the reward of a secure, affordable future is worth every sacrifice. Thank you, Gladys, for helping me change my life! 🏠❤️

Excellent Guidance Through the NACA Homebuying Process

My experience with the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) has been overwhelmingly positive. After being in the program for some time, I finally buckled down and committed fully to the process—and I’m so glad I did. The structure, resources, and support NACA provides have made the journey toward homeownership feel achievable and empowering. I especially want to highlight my counselor, Dwayne Jordan, whose guidance has been invaluable. Dwayne has been patient, knowledgeable, and consistently supportive throughout every step. With his help, I’ve been able to stay focused, work diligently, and make steady progress toward my end goal of purchasing my first home. I’m now almost at the finish line, and I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead. I’m grateful for NACA’s mission and for Dwayne’s commitment to helping me succeed.

NACA is a predatory lender driven by…

NACA is a predatory lender driven by folks who lie to get you to pay in then harass you into finishing the process or — what they prefer — walk away from the money they forced you to pay so they can claim higher membership numbers while hiding behind their "stated" mission, which is in fact a way to perpetuate the fallacy of B/AA inferiority. They intentionally ask for an inappropriate and unnecessary amount of documentation. If NACA is legit and by the book why are they having their staff tell you they are recording conversations for your safety? Why do they tell you, repeatedly, they you can get a refund of money you paid? Why refuse to give you your money back after they deleted your profile, which clearly means you are not a "member" so there's no legitimate reason to claim you are part of their "membership"? Why require you to pay up front instead of allowing you to get through the process to ensure you are OK with the requirements when the cheery charade of the process they present is debunked by you actually going through their asinine process? Why use their staff to impersonate you to tell the attorney general the case is settled after they removed all your info from their site to try to get the complaint to just go away? Why copy/paste their "stated" mission as a way to hide behind the fact that they are money grabbing and forcing their membership numbers up while doing what they can to bury legitimate complaints against them for predatory practices? All of this has happened and very likely continuing to happen — because why would they stop when there's no one to monitor their predatory practices and safeguard the community. The BBB and AG offices have been useless but at least they clearly stated that they view their role only as a mediator who can't force NACA to do right. NACA isn't even accredited by the BBB. But complaints submitted to them can and ought to be made public. Clearly there's an orchestrated effort to hide the dark side of NACA.

Counselor never returns calls or emails.

On top of the counseloe, there's like 6 other persons involved throughout the process. The counselor requests the same documents over and over again, he keeps misplacing them. It takes FOREVER for them to respond to your emails. Like 24 to 48 hours. I had to request extensions over and over again just for NACA to come back and request something they should have requested weeks prior. I definitely DO NOT recommend working with these people. Their repair request is so ridiculous and their estimates are over the sky. It just scares sellers away.

My experience with the NACA program has…

My experience with the NACA program has been very positive since the beginning of my application process. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service I have been receiving, especially from my counselor, Antonio Coronado, who has been guiding me with professionalism, patience, and dedication every step of the way. He always takes the time to answer my questions and helps me make informed decisions throughout the process. I would also like to recognize Kimberly for her kindness, courtesy, and willingness to help whenever I need assistance. In addition, I am very grateful for the valuable support provided by Karen, whose help has been very important during the early stages of my journey. Although my process started recently, I am very satisfied with the care, attention, and guidance I have received so far. I am confident that, with the support of this outstanding team, I will be able to achieve my goal of becoming a homeowner. Based on my experience to date, I highly recommend the NACA program to anyone who dreams of buying a home. From the very beginning, I have felt supported by a team that is knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely committed to helping families achieve homeownership.
