Do not order internationally
I ordered from Mexico, and my package experienced significant customs clearance delays. The issue arose because the order was initially sent to a customs facility that is not authorized to clear footwear. To resolve this, I had to authorize a transfer to a certified customs port, which incurred additional shipping costs. When the delay first occurred, I contacted Hot Chocolate's international customer support. They assured me this was completely normal and that my package would still arrive on time. That was far from true. I placed my order on July 4th, and it remains stuck in clearance delay at the original customs location. I strongly advise against making international purchases from them, especially if you are in Mexico. Given that they sell footwear exclusively, it is unbelievable that they didn't know which customs entry to use. Now I'm left facing major delays and unexpected fees just to route the shipment to the correct facility.
