The shoes are adorable, but I lost an eye from each shoe and I only wear them at the office. When I tried to reach out to customer support, I still haven't gotten a response.

I love these shoes
I love these shoes. The designs are so unique and fun. I got the Evermore heels because I love purple and Halloween. I did try them on and they fit nicely but I won’t be wearing them regularly until maybe September. Keep doing what you do. I look forward to ordering more.

Gift purchase. So cute Returned for fit but great customer service
I recently purchased shoes for a gift. Delivery was good and CUTE packaging. Product although exactly what I ordered ended up not being a good fit for my mom. The return process was fairly easy and fast. One email. Simple. Good company to buy from and will be making future purchases.

Do not order internationally
I ordered from Mexico, and my package experienced significant customs clearance delays. The issue arose because the order was initially sent to a customs facility that is not authorized to clear footwear. To resolve this, I had to authorize a transfer to a certified customs port, which incurred additional shipping costs. When the delay first occurred, I contacted Hot Chocolate's international customer support. They assured me this was completely normal and that my package would still arrive on time. That was far from true. I placed my order on July 4th, and it remains stuck in clearance delay at the original customs location. I strongly advise against making international purchases from them, especially if you are in Mexico. Given that they sell footwear exclusively, it is unbelievable that they didn't know which customs entry to use. Now I'm left facing major delays and unexpected fees just to route the shipment to the correct facility.

Hi Martha, Thank you for sharing this, and we're truly sorry for the frustration and delay with your order. To be transparent: footwear shipments into Mexico must clear through customs facilities specifically certified to process footwear, and the carrier — not Hot Chocolate Design — determines which port an international package is initially routed to. This is a known complexity of Mexican customs for footwear specifically, and unfortunately it's not something we can control on a per-order basis. What we can and should have done better is give you accurate information the first time you reached out. Telling you the delay was "completely normal" and that your package would arrive on time was wrong, and we're sorry for that. We're addressing this internally with our support team so it doesn't happen again. We'd like to make this right. If you haven't already, please email us directly at [email protected] with your order number, and we'll review the additional transfer costs you had to cover and work out a fair resolution, including reimbursement where appropriate. Thank you for your patience, and for giving us the opportunity to fix this.
Cute design, quality could be better for the price
The ease of navigating your website was great. The shoes themselves are adorable and fit well; wish there was a little more arch support for the price. Box was damaged upon arrival but product was intact. Thank you!

Shoes are AWESOME Box they came in AWESOME, comfortability is AWESOME i highly recommend! I ordered the black flat Mary Jane's with red heart ❤️ on them . I will definitely be purchasing many more pairs! And i used shop pay /klarna so it was easy to afford!!

I adore my spectators!
The service was quick and I adore my spectator clogs(m). They are beautiful and well made. I always wanted a pair of spectator pumps but, I can no longer wear heels. Having these has healed my ❤️

Shoes are cute, but they were shipped in a plastic bag and the box was completely trashed

The heels were stunning
The heels were stunning. Absolutely breathtaking. My only issue is they didn't fit. The size 11 wasn't true to size. The toe box was too small and tight on my big toe to where if I were to wear them I would be in pain so I returned them.

Absolute most original shoes ever!!!
I absolutely ❤️ LOVE Hot Chocolate Design shoes! Every time I wear one of my many pair , I get tons of compliments! I have 7 pair as of now. But I must say the 2 most sought after pair are Havana and Katrina. Literally one lady sat next to me at the dentist office and was staring at my Havana black and white Mary Jane’s. She asked where I’d purchased them and immediately got online and bought a pair! These are my absolute favorite shoes ever and as well as being so original. - they also are very well made and comfortable! Just all and all. 5/5! Great 👍 job HCD

I’m super bummed I got sent the wrong…
I’m super bummed I got sent the wrong clogs but CS made it right despite being out of the ones I ordered. I was unable to get a replacement but they said they would help me sign up to get them if/when they are restocked. CS made it better as best as they could under the circumstances.

Second Pair
My sister-in-law had given me the black widow pair gor my birthday years ago. This year I bought the black velvet pair for myself and I couldn't be happier! They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I love how light they feel on my feet. So excited to have another pair!
