Corrupt, the business, corrupt leads, corrupt customer assistance
Thumbtack used to be profitable with quality customers. Now frivolous leads come in sometimes even with disconnected numbers and you get charged $75-$151. depending on your settings and they will refuse to refund it, avoid the conversation does not return your voicemail and you get stuck paying upwards of $100. for a disconnected phone Lead. Change your setting to where you don't pay so much per lead and you don't get any leads...Going forward they completely deleted my account as I got caught up with my neighbor, as he tried to jump me so I Pepper Sprayed him. Officer said "Do you Know how much Pepper Spray Hurts? isn't that the point, to stop your attacker before he can do Harm? and I get a Misdemeanor. I have a lawyer on the case set for my not guilty trial in September and Thumbtack sees this pop up on my background check and completely Erased, Deletes my account within a week. Treated me as if I had some criminal background which I certainly do not… How the F can you go and delete a profile that has been growing and establishing for over 10 years with over 100 5-star reviews and thousands of project pictures all erased within one week…. They certainly can go kick rocks. On the other side of things losing our Thumbtack account is no Loss as we will not play victim to their ridiculous Lead Charging Game. We have moved on from Them as there are far better Lead companies...Those that will refund you when a Losey Lead comes your ways, those that aren't trying to tell you a Lead costs is upwards of $151.
