I've had a good experience with the Nuvio Mat
Over the last year or so, I've noticed red light therapy becoming much more popular, so I decided to see what it was all about. From what I found, red and near-infrared light are thought to support the body's natural cellular processes, helping with things like muscle recovery, reducing inflammation, encouraging collagen production, and improving skin health, so it certainly sounded worth trying. As I've got older, I've started to notice the usual aches and pains creeping in. My lower back can be stiff and I occasionally deal with sciatica. I wasn't expecting miracles, but I was interested to see whether regular sessions with the Nuvio mat would make any noticeable difference. The mat itself feels premium and well constructed. It's large enough that I can lie almost completely on it, with only the top of my head extending beyond the edge (I could move down to get face/head coverage). The controller is straightforward to use, the build quality feels solid, and once I'm finished, the mat rolls up neatly for easy storage. Plus there's the free 1 year warranty included on all orders. I've been using the red light mat for around 30 minutes a day while lying on my back, and after the first few days I noticed a few encouraging changes: -My lower back feels more comfortable than usual. -My posture seems a little more relaxed, particularly around my shoulders. -The skin on my back feels smoother to the touch. -My sciatica hasn't flared up during this time. It's difficult to say exactly how much of this is down to the light therapy itself versus simply taking time each day to relax and stretch. So I think it helps build a relaxing routine plus the scientific benefits of red light therapy. Regardless of your views on the science behind red light therapy, the Nuvio mat is an excellent piece of equipment.
