Poor communication and lack of follow-up from Agnes Opara, DNP
I had a very disappointing experience with Agnes Opara, DNP. My main concern was not simply that she prescribed a 30-day supply instead of 90 days. The bigger issue was the communication. During the visit, I tried to explain that if a 90-day supply was not possible, I did not want to proceed with a 30-day prescription. Despite that, a 30-day prescription was still issued. The provider also recommended a follow-up visit for the next month, but I did not feel that this plan was clearly discussed with me or that my agreement was confirmed. After the visit, I sent multiple follow-up messages over two days asking for clarification and trying to resolve the prescription issue, but I did not receive a response from the provider. I understand that prescription duration is ultimately a provider’s clinical decision. My dissatisfaction is about the communication, the lack of confirmation of my wishes, and the lack of follow-up after I repeatedly tried to contact the provider. I felt that my concerns as a patient were not adequately heard or respected. This was a very frustrating experience, and I would not choose Agnes Opara, DNP again.
