Nationwide Pet Insurance

Shelly was helpful for most the call…except this one major bit

Shelly was helpful for most the call, but when asking about prior medical history, which we don’t rely have because we rescued this pet from the streets 8 months ago, she was insistent on talking over me when I was trying to explain why we took him to the vet in February. I had to ask if I could finish. He had landed hard onto his paw and was limping on it so we took him in on 2.12.26 and she wanted to suggest that he had potential skin allergies because I mentioned that the vet mentioned he had scabs around his neck. He was just living on the streets, abandoned, starving, and was fighting for his life. So yes, he had some scabs when we first got him. We do not know if he has other conditions, we have not had anything come up since his initial neuter, vaccines, disease testing, and the paw check when he landed hard onto the tile floor. Agents should not be suggesting conditions that are not currently being experienced, or have been diagnosed prior or currently, by the animal. It’s not professional, and probably crosses some ethics lines.
