Cinch Home Services

Someone please bring back good customer…

Someone please bring back good customer service. What Cinch is doing right now feels like a scam. They take the monthly warranty payment promptly, and they take the repair deductible promptly—but when it comes to actually fixing the problem, they show no intention of fulfilling their commitment. My HVAC system has been broken for more than three weeks. Cinch scheduled a technician who came out, looked at the unit, and he only fixed one part of the problem. He said the problem should resolve within an hour. A week later, I received a text saying the repair was completed—even though **nothing** about the second part of our problem had been done. Trying to reach Cinch is another nightmare. It is extremely difficult to get a real person on the phone. Even worse, when you finally reach someone, Cinch has no idea whether a technician visited, what was done, or what the actual status of the repair is. Their representatives seem to believe their only responsibility is to assign a local technician and walk away. There is no follow‑up, no accountability, and no urgency to resolve customer issues. So far, Cinch has only scheduled this one company/technician. They showed up one time and resolved part of the issue. Cinch keeps telling us that they've contacted the company and we should get a call but the call never comes. It is beyond ridiculous. What’s the current status of my HVAC system? Still broken. Still leaking. Still waiting. And I’m still paying the monthly warranty like a fool. Never trust or sign up with Cinch Home Warranty. Cinch operates a call center, collects money, and leaves customers stranded. Even the webpage links they send don’t work. I would be relieved to see this company shut down also. Customers deserve better.
