Disappointed
I’ve had only really good experiences with Agoda until yesterday when booking in Australian dollars at the advertised price on the site to getting to the payment and it says the property is to be paid in US dollars. This is not unusual and is fine however it ended up being about $20 more. It’s fine to allow for some fluctuations. This is in fact misleading advertising an amount in Australian dollars then doing a conversion within 10 minutes and being told that it has gone up $20-$25.
