LifeMD

Prescriptions Not Sent, Refunds Not Issued

I truly believe that LifeMD is operating a known scam, and they’re able to get away with it through confusing business practices while continuously charging your account. Myself, my mother, and my sister have all used this service and experienced similar issues. Every month, $300 is subtracted from your account, but the medication is never sent. Then, a form is filled out to “request” your prescription, but most of the time for me, the prescription is never sent. I have messages in my account where I said “my prescription never arrived” with no response. Chats go unanswered or a call is required. There’s always a reason - maybe you need to have a virtual doctor check in and no one alerted you. Maybe there was an issue with delivery. Regardless, until multiple points of contact are made, the account is still charged and the prescription is not sent, but now, you’re outside the 3 day window online for reimbursement. Additionally, they told my mother that she was able to get 3 months sent to her at a time for a lower fee. I requested that subscription plan, and I was told verbatim that “they’d never heard of that” and “she must be with another provider”. Both of us go through LifeMD. The first time I called to escalate the issue, I was offered and accepted account credits. This time, I was extended a partial refund, because they still ‘retained my membership” during that time, with 0 services rendered. I would like my money back. LifeMD is not a charitable organization - they are a business whose membership avails you to obtaining a prescription. If no prescription is made available, no services for “membership” were rendered, and they should be held to the full reimbursement of the charge.
