Order and petg recomendation
The delivery itself was fine, but I was disappointed with the filament recommendations during the ordering process. When I ordered my printer, I was also offered the option to add several colors of filament. Since this was my first 3D printer and I was completely new to 3D printing, I assumed that the suggested filament would be compatible with the PLA included with the printer. I bought several bright colors without realizing that some of them were PETG rather than PLA. When I later tried to make multicolor prints using both materials, the PLA and PETG did not bond properly. I ruined several prints before I eventually realized what the problem was. I understand that the material type was probably shown during the ordering process, so I accept that I could have noticed it myself. However, for a beginner buying their first printer, I think the ordering experience could make the difference between PLA and PETG much clearer, especially when filament is being suggested as an add on to the printer. Now I have several colors of PETG that I cannot easily combine with my existing PLA, and I need to place another order for the same colors in PLA. The printer itself is great, but this made my first experience more frustrating and expensive than it needed to be.
