After running an Ultimaker 3 trouble-free for over 10 years, I expected a flagship Bambu ecosystem running official PETG and PETG-CF to be a true "no-brainer." Instead, after 2 months of exhaustive calibration passes, I'm sitting at a ~90% failure rate—primarily driven by persistent under-extrusion that stock presets fail to resolve. High-speed printing amplifies PETG stringing, layer adhesion anomalies, and volumetric bottlenecks that slower legacy printers like the UM3 simply never encountered. Still, for a flagship tier, fighting stock profile under-extrusion for 8+ weeks shouldn't be required. Disappointing experience for legacy prosumer migrators.
