Untrustworthy comms and loss of flight
At check-in counter I couldnt board due to passport date requirement by Indonesia, I asked to reshchedule my flight for later that day after I got the updated passport. They told me to call the airline to move the ticket, the airline ticketing was closed until after the flight left. So I asked them can I do it online instead, they said no, it will cancel all passengers on the booking ref. The only way was to call. When ticketing finally opened I called them, they said I was marked as a no-show, couldnt reschedule, and I could have done it online if the check-in staff gave me a separate booking reference. Each department blamed the other, and I was left with no flight. SEveral attempts to have them issue me a voucher or flight coupon to reschedule, they declined at every level. Will not fly again.
