I had a very frustrating experience with CSSBuy. I already paid the shipping fee for my package. After the payment, CSSBuy informed me that they would not ship my package unless I deposited an additional 240.8 RMB into my account using another payment method such as Wise, Alipay or crypto. They claim that this extra amount is only for “verification” and will not be deducted, but this requirement was not clearly explained before I paid the shipping fee. I repeatedly asked them to either ship my package using the amount already paid, provide the exact official policy that requires this additional deposit, or refund the shipping fee. Instead, I keep receiving essentially the same response telling me to deposit more money. For me, the biggest problem is the lack of transparency. A customer should know about this kind of requirement before paying for shipping. I will update this review if CSSBuy provides a proper solution, ships my package without requiring an unexpected additional deposit, or issues a refund.
