I purchased my BARE phone protection…
I purchased my BARE phone protection about two months ago and paid almost AED 300 for the phone case, screen film, and camera protection. I chose BARE specifically because I was told that the protection could be changed/replaced for free for a lifetime, except for the side case. Unfortunately, my camera protection recently broke, so I went to the store expecting to have it replaced under the lifetime replacement promise. I was then told that I needed to pay another AED 100 because they had changed the type of camera lens/protection. This is very disappointing. If the product was sold to me with a lifetime free replacement promise, why should I have to pay again simply because the company changed the type of lens/product? I understand if there are terms and conditions or if certain damages are excluded, but these conditions should be clearly explained at the time of purchase. I paid almost AED 300 based on the understanding that I would have lifetime replacement, not that I would need to purchase another lifetime replacement plan whenever the product design changed. I hope BARE can clarify this policy and honor the lifetime replacement promise that was communicated to me when I made my purchase.
