Very Frustrating Company to deal with
I purchased a Qidi Max4 combo about a month ago because of the reviews about its fantastic print quality. It has been all downhill since then. Firstly I ordered and paid for it by Visa on the Australian website only to be clipped for $60 odd dollar exchange fee for a payment to Hong Kong. The Qidi box was sent from Melbourne followed a week or so later by the printer from Hong Kong. Assembled everything and box was dead it didn't work. Tried to do the firmwear update the printer had suggested and it failed, half installed, now I get error msgs. Manually loaded a single filament and did one fantastic quality print. Now I can't unload that filament. I get on average one msg a day from Qidi support, the box is in pieces. I offered to buy another box at cost price but that offer was declined. Other reviewers say support is knowledgeable so all I can do is sit here and wonder if I'll get to print anything before Christmas.
