Terrible first experience – bait-and-switch flight details and hidden cancellation fees! My very first experience booking with CheapOair was an absolute nightmare. I attempted to book a specific trip, but immediately after receiving the confirmation email, I noticed that the departing flight had been completely changed to a totally different schedule without my consent. When I called customer service right away to get placed on my original flight, I was told they couldn't accommodate me. Since they couldn't provide the trip I actually bought, I asked to cancel the package. That is when they attempted to hit me with a $150 cancellation fee for a booking I had tried to make literally two minutes prior! It took over an hour and 10 minutes of exhausting, frustrating conversations before I was finally issued a full refund. Bottom line: Watch out for sudden flight changes and predatory cancellation fees right after booking. I will not be using CheapOair again.
