Grossly inflates price without warning
For the first two years, NORD charged what I expected. It seemed to work ok, although I thought it slowed some websites and blocked some medical journals, which I use in editing, forcing me to expend extra effort to access what I needed. However, this seemed ok in view of the promised protection. This year, however, the price escalated to $195. Many well-reviewed VPNs charge much less, and might even give warning about extreme price raises. So beware, and watch your credit card statements.
