Rove Concepts

Poor Resolution for Defective Premium Dining Table

Extremely disappointed with our experience purchasing the Arco Extendable Dining Table from Rove Concepts. Our original table had issues, so we requested a store credit as we no longer had confidence in the product. Instead, we were only offered a replacement. After assembling the replacement, we found it was in worse condition, with cracks running through the main structural support legs affecting key load-bearing points across the base of the table. These were not cosmetic issues but serious defects in the primary supports that affect stability and safety. Given the price point and brand positioning, this level of quality control is unacceptable. Despite receiving a defective replacement after already requesting a credit, no meaningful resolution was offered. Overall, we are extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer experience. I would not recommend this table or Rove Concepts based on our experience. Response to rove: This is simply not accurate. The reason 8 months passed before the replacement was assembled is because our original table was acknowledged by Rove Concepts as defective and had to be disposed of. The replacement remained unopened in its original packaging until we were ready to assemble it. When we finally opened the box and assembled the table, we immediately discovered cracks in both legs at critical structural load-bearing points, before the table had ever been used. We provided photographs clearly showing structural defects present upon assembly. Importantly, both legs showed damage in the exact same location. That pattern is not consistent with wear or usage over time and strongly indicates a manufacturing defect rather than damage from use. Suggesting the issue resulted from “extended use” is misleading when the replacement table had never been used and was still in its original packaging prior to assembly. Despite photographic evidence and the documented history of our original defective table, Rove Concepts continues to deny responsibility for what appears to be a clear manufacturing issue.
