Pizza oven not fit for use!
Really disappointed after receiving, quite possibly one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had from Gozney. We purchased a Gozney Dome believing we were investing in a premium, high-end pizza oven costing just under £2,000. After just 12 months of use, it’s developed an electrical fault and become unsafe & unusable as the pipe has bunt. After providing photos and videos, Gozney rejected our warranty claim, stating that the fault was caused by a ruptured pipe due to heat damage and is therefore not covered under their five-year warranty. The only resolution offered was to purchase a new one, which is more expensive than when we bought and they would offer a minimal discount! What has been most disappointing is the way we have been treated. We were told the damage must have been caused by exposure to high winds and by using the oven with the door on. This is simply not the case. Our oven is installed in an enclosed outdoor kitchen, protected from the wind, and we have never operated it with the door fitted. It feels as though our account of how the oven has been used has been dismissed without proper consideration. For a product specifically designed for outdoor use and marketed as a premium appliance, I do not believe an internal heat-related failure after only around 12 months of use is acceptable. I expected far better durability and, more importantly, much better customer support when something went wrong. Unfortunately, my confidence in both the product and the company’s warranty has been lost. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Gozney and would advise caution as clearly a device t in the design.
